Jaydi Samuels Kuba is a TV writer, matchmaker, and dating coach, best known for setting up singles in the entertainment industry. A graduate of USC's screenwriting program, she got her start penning the 250th episode of Family Guy, and has written and developed for numerous auspices since, from Tyler the Creator and Colin Kaepernick to Jennifer Garner and Margot Robbie -- including two pilots set up with Warner Bros. Her other credits range from animated comedies on Fox and Netflix to live action dramas such as Salem.
While working in TV, Jaydi noticed her peers were struggling to find meaningful romantic connections, and she launched LJMatchmaking with her business partner Lauren. The dozens of couples they've matched over the years affectionately call them the "Love Agents of Hollywood." Her narrative nonfiction book about it all -- Your Last First Date: Secrets from a Hollywood Matchmaker -- debuted this past January. Maria Shriver called it one of the "Most Anticipated Books of 2026," and Amazon's Editorial Director for Books named it as one of her top Valentine's Day recommendations. Lastly, this nationally-rated table tennis player is married to Dave, a reality TV producer who also happened to be her client. (Don't worry, she only ever got high on her own supply once!) Together they are the loving parents to four-year-old Rocky, and co-host the podcast "Match Made in Hollywood."
